Our main source of raw material is a paper quality named Super Snow Bright. This is an uncoated paper produced at the last remaining paper mill of its kind in Norway, Hellefoss Paper AS in Hokksund. All our products are designed and printed in Oslo.
Hellefoss Paper AS supplies paper on roll. The Norwegian printing industry has phased out rotary presses and other production methods that make it possible to use paper in this format, which means that the paper produced at Hellefoss is not readily available in Norway.
We are currently the only company offering stationery products made from Norwegian paper produced in Norway.
All Pine Press is an Oslo based stationery brand established by graphic designer Marianne Hollum Lydersen. We design and manufacture notebooks, calendars and wrapping paper. All our products are designed and printed in Oslo. using paper from the last remaining paper factory of its kind in Norway
Quality and environmental aspects
Local raw materials and local production = short traveled products and good control. All Pine Press has emphasized establishing a Norwegian and geographically short value chain, from the timber being cut to the products standing in the store shelves. This ensures good control over both product quality and the environmental aspects of production and logistics. The Hellefoss factory uses timber supplied mainly by forest owners in the neighboring municipalities. In February 2006, Hellefoss Paper AS was certified according to the FSC standard and thus granted the right to market its products as FSC ™ material. By purchasing products with the FSC ™ logo, you support the proper operation and maintenance of forestry around the world. Viken Skog is the factorys main supplier of timber, which is the main raw material in paper production. The timber deliveries are quality assured through "Environmental Standard NS-EN ISO 14001: 1996". In the summer of 2008, Viken Skog was also certified according to the FSC standard (SA-FM / COC-001916) and has since been a supplier of FSC timber to Hellefoss. Other FSC fiber is supplied by Rottneros AS. In addition to the paper from Hellefoss, we use a Swedish paper called Munken Pure Rough for the inner cover, the "soft cover", on our notebooks. This is also an FSC registered paper. All Pine press's products are printed at RK Grafisk in Oslo. This is a Nordic Ecolabelled company, which is also approved to supply FSC labeled products. RK Grafisk has a very flexible production and delivers a wide range of products. RK Grafisk supplies printed matter according to ISO 12647-2. ISO 12647-2 standardization.
Social responsibility
By keeping a strictly domestic value chain, it is easy to keep track of the working conditions of employees, from raw material to finished product. All our partner companies are members of NHO, and the employees are paid according to collective bargaining agreement. Norwegian law applies in all aspects. For All Pine Press, it is important to use the resources and professionals available in Norway. This is one of the main reasons why we exclusively manufacture our products in Norway. In recent years, several of the major printing companies have had to close down, and publishing houses almost exclusively print publications abroad. For All Pine Press, it makes great sence to print our products in Oslo, at a traditional printer in Groruddalen. When establising All Pine Press, one of our goals was to pay homage to the Norwegian paper industry, an industry that has faced major challenges, but which still plays an important role in many communities. Hellefoss Paper AS is a cornerstone company in Hokksund, where residents have worked at the factory for generations.
